Acanthus has been my go to floral shop for over a year now and regularly pop in to pick up arrangements for the house or as gifts. You just give them a price point and if any, preferred colours/flowers and they’ll work their magic.

Absolutely, hands-down my favourite florist. The flowers are always so beautiful, interesting and fresh. They last for ages! The skill of the florists in this shop is top tier. You can just give them a mood, a price point, and wait for them to wow you. Their plants are also gorgeous. I have become a plant person at long last! They are super helpful with advice too. And while I prefer to stop into their beautiful store, they do offer timely delivery.

Acanthus is so lovely. I’ve been a fan for years despite being based in Kanata. I’m very early 2020, I did a super fun terrarium workshop with Laura. The shop is beautifully curated and is a treat to visit.

If you’re a plant lover this place is a must to stop into. This shop is absolutely beautiful!! So many plants to pick from and even floral arrangements. I will be popping in every time I’m in Almonte. Very friendly service and amazing quality plants.

I have used Acanthus previously for our wedding at the Civitan and my father's celebration of life. This time, it was the flowers for the interment of my Mary. She was a Canadian by gaining citizenship after she left Scotland. our bouquets were beautiful. The prices were what I'd expect. We got thistle to go with white and blue for the Scots flag. They tried to get heather, but it is tough to get outside of Scotland. However they found some other flora that provided the same purple/pink that heather could provide. Very wonderful help and would yet again by work from Jamie and the other folk. First rate1

Since moving to Almonte, we’ve loved Acanthus Floral! They’re our go to local florist! From the kindness of the staff to the quality of the flowers and plants, we’ve never had a bad experience! When it came time to decide on florals for our recent winter wedding, choosing Acanthus was a no brainer! Laura was amazing! Her kindness and knowledge helped to bring our dried flower dreams to life! We’re still getting compliments, and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.

Laura is just the absolute best. She is creative, adaptable and I am always blown away by her floral creations. She made my bridal arrangement and the bouquets for my 8 bridesmaids. Prices were super reasonable and the flowers were FRESH, blooming and gorgeous! I am so happy with everything we got. They also offer delivery, though we didn’t end up needing it. My groom picked up the flowers which were all neatly package in cute boxes. Don’t hesitate to support this small business out in Almonte! 🥰

Jamie and Laura crafted the most beautiful bouquet, bud vases and floral backdrop for our fall wedding. They executed exactly what we had envisioned and took the time to arrange the pieces at our venue so that by the time we arrived everything looked gorgeous! They have such a vision for beautiful floral arrangements and nailed every detail from the blue ribbon around my bouquet to the chiffon drapery at our ceremony space.
